Cicada pendant

Silver cicada pendant with detailed carvings that depict the insect’s wings and body. Intricate wing veins and segmented body make this piece visually striking. There’s an attachment ring on top of the cicada’s head, allowing it to be connected to necklaces or bracelets. Made in Provence (the cicada being a symbol of Provence) in the 1940-1950s. In excellent condition, the wings are slightly tarnished.
