AUTHOR'S COMMENT: "The disheveled red rose in a blue glass on the wood, all on a small cutting board. One of the series 'Flowers on the wood', where a flower or a small bouquet of flowers is a protoganist of the picture. The style is minimalist — there is only one flower and the dark, nocturnal background. This small oil painting is a part of my 'Night Still Life' series."

The boards are varnished, however these are paintings, they are not intended for cutting food in the kitchen. Place them on the wall, not on the table.
